Possibly required in the past, but is currently fills no purpose. Ordinarily such tiny cleanup is not generally worth it, however on the macOS port, in a future commit, we do unspeakable things to the "fd" for send/recv, and it would be easier to only have to deal with one "fd" instead of two. OpenZFS is an advanced file system and volume manager which was originally developed for Solaris and is now maintained by the OpenZFS community. This repository contains the code for running OpenZFS on Linux and FreeBSD.

Supported Kernels
- The
METAfile contains the officially recognized supported Linux kernel versions. - Supported FreeBSD versions are any supported branches and releases starting from 12.2-RELEASE.
