blkdev_get_by_path() and blkdev_put() have been replaced by bdev_open_by_path() and bdev_release(), which return a "handle" object with the bdev object itself inside. This adds detection for the new functions, and macros to handle the old and new forms consistently. OpenZFS is an advanced file system and volume manager which was originally developed for Solaris and is now maintained by the OpenZFS community. This repository contains the code for running OpenZFS on Linux and FreeBSD.

Supported Kernels
- The
METAfile contains the officially recognized supported Linux kernel versions. - Supported FreeBSD versions are any supported branches and releases starting from 12.4-RELEASE.
