Remove all instances of list handling where the API is not used and instead list data members are directly accessed. Doing this sort of thing is bad for portability. Additionally, ensure that list_link_init() is called on newly created list nodes. This ensures the node is properly initialized and does not rely on the assumption that zero'ing the list_node_t via kmem_zalloc() is the same as proper initialization. ZFS.RELEASE |
Native ZFS for Linux! ZFS is an advanced file system and volume manager which was originally developed for Solaris. It has been successfully ported to FreeBSD and now there is a functional Linux ZFS kernel port too. The port currently includes a fully functional and stable SPA, DMU, and ZVOL with a ZFS Posix Layer (ZPL) on the way!
Documentation for building, configuring, and using ZFS can be found at: http://wiki.github.com/behlendorf/zfs/
