Everything listed in dist_noinst_SCRIPTS is assumed to be a shell script, this generates a shellcheck SC1071 error since perl is not supported. Move update_authors.pl to dist_noinst_DATA with the other perl scripts. OpenZFS is an advanced file system and volume manager which was originally developed for Solaris and is now maintained by the OpenZFS community. This repository contains the code for running OpenZFS on Linux and FreeBSD.

Supported Kernels
- The
METAfile contains the officially recognized supported Linux kernel versions. - Supported FreeBSD versions are any supported branches and releases starting from 12.2-RELEASE.
