ZFS typically preserves proper LIFO ordering regarding map/unmap operations that wrap the Linux kernel's kmap interfaces that require such ordering, but one instance in abd_raidz_gen_iterate() did not. Similar issues have been fixed in the Linux kernel in the past, see for instance CVE-2025-39899 for userfaultfd. OpenZFS is an advanced file system and volume manager which was originally developed for Solaris and is now maintained by the OpenZFS community. This repository contains the code for running OpenZFS on Linux and FreeBSD.

Supported Kernels
- The
METAfile contains the officially recognized supported Linux kernel versions. - Supported FreeBSD versions are any supported branches and releases starting from 13.0-RELEASE.
