When used in conjunction with one of '-e' or '-d' zfs receive options none of the properties requested to be set (-o) are actually applied: this is caused by a wrong assumption made about the toplevel dataset in zfs_receive_one(). ZFS is an advanced file system and volume manager which was originally
developed for Solaris and is now maintained by the Illumos community.
ZFS on Linux, which is also known as ZoL, is currently feature complete. It includes fully functional and stable SPA, DMU, ZVOL, and ZPL layers. And it's native!
