According to the upstream change, all callers set it, and all block devices either honoured it or ignored it, so removing it entirely allows a bunch of handling for the "unset" case to be removed, and it becomes effectively implied. We follow suit, and keep setting it for older kernels. OpenZFS is an advanced file system and volume manager which was originally developed for Solaris and is now maintained by the OpenZFS community. This repository contains the code for running OpenZFS on Linux and FreeBSD.

Supported Kernels
- The
METAfile contains the officially recognized supported Linux kernel versions. - Supported FreeBSD versions are any supported branches and releases starting from 13.0-RELEASE.
