On some systems we already have blkdev_get_by_path() with 4 args but still the old FMODE_EXCL and not BLK_OPEN_EXCL defined. The vdev_bdev_mode() function was added to handle this case but there was no generic way to specify exclusive access. OpenZFS is an advanced file system and volume manager which was originally developed for Solaris and is now maintained by the OpenZFS community. This repository contains the code for running OpenZFS on Linux and FreeBSD.

Supported Kernels
- The
METAfile contains the officially recognized supported Linux kernel versions. - Supported FreeBSD versions are any supported branches and releases starting from 12.4-RELEASE.
