* PBKDF2 implementation changed to OpenSSL implementation. * HKDF implementation moved to its own file and tests added to ensure correctness. * Removed libzfs's now unnecessary dependency on libzpool and libicp. * Ztest can now create and test encrypted datasets. This is currently disabled until issue #6526 is resolved, but otherwise functions as advertised. * Several small bug fixes discovered after enabling ztest to run on encrypted datasets. * Fixed coverity defects added by the encryption patch. * Updated man pages for encrypted send / receive behavior. * Fixed a bug where encrypted datasets could receive DRR_WRITE_EMBEDDED records. * Minor code cleanups / consolidation. The majority of the code in the ZFS on Linux port comes from OpenSolaris
|
|
which has been released under the terms of the CDDL open source license.
|
|
This includes the core ZFS code, libavl, libnvpair, libefi, libunicode,
|
|
and libutil. The original OpenSolaris source can be downloaded from:

|
Files which do not originate from OpenSolaris are noted in the file header
|
|
and attributed properly. These exceptions include, but are not limited
|
|
to, the vdev_disk.c and zvol.c implementation which are licensed under

the CDDL.

This ZFS on Linux port was produced at the Lawrence Livermore National

National Security, LLC (LLNS) for the operation of LLNL. It has been
|
|
approved for release under LLNL-CODE-403049.
