We have a tunable which permits one to disable the use of unmapped I/O for the buffer cache. Respect it in ZFS as well. This is useful for KMSAN, which cannot easily maintain shadow state for unmapped pages. No functional change intended, as unmapped I/O is permitted by default and there's no real reason to disable it in practice except for debugging. OpenZFS is an advanced file system and volume manager which was originally developed for Solaris and is now maintained by the OpenZFS community. This repository contains the code for running OpenZFS on Linux and FreeBSD.

Supported Kernels
- The
METAfile contains the officially recognized supported Linux kernel versions. - Supported FreeBSD versions are any supported branches and releases starting from 12.2-RELEASE.
