Long ago, SPL atomics were implemented as a global spinlock over conventional operations. In5e9b5d832b(2009-10) they was converted to proper atomics, with the spinlock retained as a fallback. The switch to compile with the fallback was later removed ina91258913f(2018-05), but the code it enabled wasn't. So lets do that. OpenZFS is an advanced file system and volume manager which was originally developed for Solaris and is now maintained by the OpenZFS community. This repository contains the code for running OpenZFS on Linux and FreeBSD.

Supported Kernels
- The
METAfile contains the officially recognized supported Linux kernel versions. - Supported FreeBSD versions are any supported branches and releases starting from 13.0-RELEASE.
